The Clinton County Title Company is a C-corporation incorporated under the laws of Illinois on November 9, 1990 by Norman Conrad, and Carol Conrad, for the purpose of operating an abstract and real estate title insurance agency.
The company provides a complete line of real estate title services in Clinton, Bond, Washington and Marion Counties, including but not limited to abstract extensions, loan closings, buy/sell closings, construction escrow closings, UCC searches, §1031 exchanges and title insurance services underwritten by Attorneys Title Guaranty Fund and The Guarantee Title and Trust Company.
The company’s strength is its experienced employees:
Lucritia Macon is the lead title records searcher. She has over 35 years of abstract and land title search experience.
Carol Conrad and Nancy Thouvenin close the transactions, respond to client requests and perform general office duties. They have worked for the Company since 1991.
Debbie Riddle has over 6 years experience in closing real estate transactions and has worked in a law office environment since 2000. In addition to experience and professionalism, Debbie brings a sense of humor to the closing table.

Amy Conrad started with the Company in 2003 and assists with policy preparation, data entry and general clerical assistance.
The company provides insured closings and retains errors and omissions coverage for all services performed.
Office hours for the Clinton County Title Company are Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. It is closed on state recognized holidays.
